Ingredients

  • 3 ½ oz yellow onions
    or 3 ½ oz leeks
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger peeled, sliced thinly
  • 9 oz chicken breast fillet, cut into strips (½ in.)
  • ¼ - ½ tsp dried ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ¼ tsp dried red chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ - 1 oz tomato paste
  • 7 oz vegetable broth (see Tip)
  • 14 oz canned chickpeas, drained
  • 5 oz yogurt, high protein
  • ⅛ tsp ground black pepper
  • cilantro, roughly chopped, to garnish
