  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 heaped tbsp parsley, fresh, leaves only
  • 100 g onions, halved
  • 315 g mixed vegetables (e.g. carrots, turnips, parsnip), cut into pieces
  • 170 g celery, cut into pieces (1.5 cm)
  • 15 g butter, unsalted
    or 15 g extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt, to taste
  • ¼ - ½ tsp black pepper, ground, to taste
  • 2 heaped tbsp chicken stock paste, plus 1135 g water
    or 1135 g chicken stock
  • 60 g egg pasta, fresh, type pappardelle
